Default Serious issues with Blackberry 8100

Please Login to Remove!

I recently purchased a blackberry 8100 and the first couple of weeks I had it it worked great! I loved it! But, about 3 weeks after using it the thing started going crazy. It shuts down and restarts automatically. I can't keep it on for more than 2 minutes without it shutting down. My missed calls don't delete. My bluetooth doesn't work. I'm on AT&T's network. If anyone has any suggestions please help!!!

yes if it is under warranty and there is no physical or liquid damage return and get it replaced

Or if you're up for adventure you can wipe the device and reload the OS. If it still does it then you know it's a hardware issue.

I just tried this. Now, all I have is a white screen with the spinning hour glass. Won't boot any further. Any suggestions how to fix that?

You can have that for up to 20 - 30 Minutes

You may even see it twice. Did the loading process go through all the way to where Desktop manager says the loading operation is complete? If so, just wait. It'll come back.

Alright, reloaded everything. Still doing the same thing. I suppose it's time to take it back and fight with AT&T to get a new phone, huh?

Thanks for the help. I just don't understand what's happening with it. It's almost like it completely looses power. The red led in the right hand corner blinks the screen goes black and it boots back up. Sometimes it shuts completely down and other times it goes black and comes back to the screen it was previously on.

yeah, take it back. If the new one does it then it could be a sim card issue.

How about this added to the list of things wrong. The phone works perfect as long as I'm connected via usb cable to my pc. Would this be any type of help in pin pointing the issue. I'm going tomorrow to try to exchange my phone but, just in case they wont let me I'm trying everything I can to fix it.

Could be a bad battery or battery contacts.
