I personally wouldn't buy it either, for the same reason, as I like my Curve keyboard too much. However, I would get this for others on my plan to slowly bring them into the BB World as they both have Moto flip phones.

I am conflicted, the leaked model photos looks like crap and makes never want to see that device let alone own one. But then I look at the marketing material and I want one...lol.

Depending on the overall size when closed, I'm VERY interested. I always like flip phones, and adding SureType to one is nice. For flip fans, it's the best of both worlds. As a messaging device you can't beat Blackberrys. This might be an optimal solution for a user like me.

Despite being a fan of the full QWERTY, I am really interested in this phone. Can't wait to see it in person!

I too can't wait to see it in person as this would make a great weekend warrior or for us that have more than one cellphone, you can put this one in your pocket and not suffer all the problems pocketing a pearl cause (i.e. trackball issues)

Having spent the last few years on SureType, I can't stand the Qwerty keyboards anymore. I used to love 'em, but those days are long gone...

How come the images got pulled? It says "Images pulled by request", did the leaks get too close for comfort for RIM?

any idea if this phone is going to have the same process as the pearl or if it will be improved? My pearl seems to drag more then what I would like personally...

Nice looking phone but I willl still get the 9000. The larger higher rsolution screen does it for me. I love my pearl but a larger screen is going to be bomb
