Default Shortcut to Multitap or how to properly type e-mail address in the TO: field? - 04-24-2009, 03:27 PM

Hi,
I used to own a pearl 8100 that worked great. When I wanted to switch to Multitap I help the SYM(*) key and could easily switch back and forth. The only time I used this was when I was typing something in the TO: field of an e-mail that was not in my contact list. From what I've researched this command no longer exists or maybe i'm not aware of another way. I know you can switch using the menu but that is too long to go back and forth. So my questions are is there another shortcut key or does anyone know a better way of entering an e-mail in the TO: field? I have issues because most of the time they are not standard words i'm trying to type and it doesn't give me a choice of which letters i'm trying to type. Very frustrating HELP?? It's really the only issue I can find on my new 8230 which I so far love so much.

Menu --> "ER" button that will jump to the "Enable ..." right away....

its not as fast as original pearl... but not that annoying either.

Wirelessly posted

Options > Language > Input Language

Pick multitap there.
