Default My 8220 Died this morning .. need help! - 06-19-2009, 11:47 AM

Have had my flip for 3 months, bought case for it from day 1, never dropped, never spilled anything on, always worked day in and day out.

Had it in truck with me yesterday on charger, got home, made a bunch of calls.

I set it on nightstand, and I wake up this morning and its not on.

I try to power it up, nothing. I pull the battery for 2 minutes, put it back in, and phone has white screen and is thinking (done this before and it worked). After doing its thing for 3-4 minutes, it turns off.

Now it wont do anything. Battery pull or not. I think its completely dead now and not sure what to do.

Welcome to the forums.

Is it possible the battery could be dead? Have you tried charging the battery for 3 - 4 hours and then reseat the battery?

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
When you take things for granted, the things you are granted, get taken.
Even a mosquito doesn't get a pat on the back until it starts to work.

Have had it plugged in now for 3+ hours this morning before phone died.

When I went to bed, phone already had 80-90% charge on it.

Been through this a few times and phone powered right back up, but not this time. Its doing absolutely nothing.

I just got a BB last week, it went dead after the first day and would not charge. It turns out it couldn't charge with my 4 GB sd card in it. So try to take out your memory card and see if that helps.
