Question New to Blackberry, probably a dumb question but - 07-08-2009, 11:49 AM

Hey all.

Got an 8230 pearl Flip last week at Verizon as I gave up hope we'd see am iPhone at VZW anytime soon.

So far I am happy with it...some getting used to a few things.

My first and only question for here right now is probbaly dumb, but here goes.

Can I use any old USB to mini-USB cord to hook my 8230 to a PC? I am not certain if these are wired differnetly for different devices. I can see that being a possibility if different voltages are needed for differnt devices. I ask because I want to leave the one that came with the phone at home, and use a USB-to-mini-USB cord I have at work for charging the phone at work. I don't want to do/try it until I am certain.

Thanks!

Mike

I use one from my iPod at home and another one I got someplace here in the office. Plus I have a couple in my computer bags that I carry around. All work great.
