Default Facebook won't open on my new VZW flip 8230 - 07-27-2009, 05:03 PM

I just switched to this phone, ported over my device data from my last blackberry, which was the storm (I just like suretype better and the storm is too choppy and unreliable). Never mind the fact that NONE of my apps worked, I wiped the handheld and installed facebook. No icon, it will not run, I've tried re-installing it - zippo! I can't find anything about this anywhere and support hasn't replied to my email.

When I restart I get an uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0xedae2c374e488c64) timeout

What method did you use to install it on your phone?

Originally there was an icon. I clicked on it and downloaded it. I believe the phone reset, and I could not find the icon. I used App World after that. Then I tried using the browser. Same problem every time. No icon, will not run when I access it either from the app list or the app world. I've wiped the handheld 2-3 times now, I keep getting the uncaught exception. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
