Default First Impressions and problems - 08-22-2009, 07:55 AM

Hi all I just got my 8220, first thing I did was updated the O.S.. Then I started to use it. Let me mention that i dont have data plan but I'm connected to Wifi.

I donk know how else to load appworld cuz it says it needs data.
Almost half of the features such as facebook, google apps and all else require data, is there a workaround this? Because I feel like my phone can only do halfof what its capable of even with just WIFI.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I thought there was a desktop version. If you have to download OTA then you have a problem. Other than voice & texting you are limited without a plan.

You are very correct in that you only have half a BB if you only use WiFi. Many functions that require data, such as email, BBM and map applications require a BB dataplan.

You are very correct in saying you only have half a BB with only WiFi. If you want email, BBM, GPS maps, and other data intensive services, then you need a BB data plan.
