It seems like I saw this question in a thread but now can't find it. Yes, I tried to search for it...
It seems incredible that my hi tech, incredibly capable BB Pearl Flip is not able to give me an audible "beep" when I have an unread text message. The little flashing light is NOT a good substitue IMO.
Is there a solution to this I'm unaware of? Thanks
BTW, the feeble vibrate of this thing is another "feature" that I'm not too fond of.

The incredible device indeed does do audible notifications of SMS.

I think I didn't make my question clear enough perhaps. I get audible notification of SMS text messages, but I would like to have a reminder beep for MISSED text messages (like my basic LG phone did).
The only option I can see is LED flashing for repeat notification. If I'm away from my phone for example, it would be nice to have an audible notification that there is an unread (missed) text message.
Still unable to find how to do that, but I'm still looking...

I haven't found this feature yet... and I am very curious... I think it does not exist for this phone... but check out the Blackberry App Store for applications related to this... I think I saw one once...

You'll need BBAlerts for that repeated audible alert.
