I am looking for a good basic clip for the Verizon Pearl Flip 8230. I got the generic one from Verizon when I ordered the phone, but for some reason the idiots forgot to include the magnet when they designed the clip so no of the "In Holster" profile options work, which is pretty f***ing annoying.

Anyone found a good clip, not case (with magnet) for the Flip?

The flip does not have a magnetic sensor to use as "in holdster"... so they designed it as it should be...
I dont think its necessary that function in a flip phone where you can just flip it closed and does the trick....

Well that sucks.

I liked the fact that when the blackberry was in the holster it would ring/vibrate differently than when it was just sitting on the table. It was just a nice feature for meetings and such...I guess I will have to remember to switch profiles.

I don't know about the Verizon flip, but I have an unlocked flip using it with AT&T and there is a magnet. I bought a great clip on ebay that has a magnet and is real secure. I can't post links, but if you want it, PM me

It wont matter.. cause the flip does not support magnetic case/clip.... I know it sucks not to have that feature, but remember the shortcut to switch between your current profile and Vibrate is to hold "#" on either main screen or app screen.
