Default unable to turn on bluetooth - 09-25-2009, 09:11 PM

bluetooth was working fine one day and stopped. I use bluetooth for headset. Under connections I am unable to check bluetooth. I click on bluetooth it highlights it for a sec or two and goes back to blank(no check). I have the latest os. did not do a full wipe with the update. I have looked all over and have not found anything yet, so some help is appreciated.

Regards.

Have you tried a battery pull?

What did you do just before it stopped? Did you load an app, update the OS? Change settings?

I have the same problem. Today, in the middle of a call the bluetooth shut off, and it won't let me enable again. I tried upgrading the software (to v4.6.0.305) and still nothing.

The problem is, I have an unlocked flip with AT&T and I'm not sure who i can call for help with this. I believe there is a warranty from RIM, but the only way for me to contact them is through AT&T. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Mine disabled again the day after it started working and it hasn't started back up. This is my 3rd 8220 and now it too is having issues. T-Mo wanted me to buy a new phone, and after the issues I had with my Curve and now my Pearl Flips I have opted for a Cliq.
