I've got a new 8230 Flip
V 4.6.1.182 (platform 3.3.0.64)
Micro Media Edition 1.1

I'm completely new to the BB world, so please bear with me. The new phones looses the ability to play the factory ring tones after being on for a while. If I remove the battery and reset things media player can preview all the ring tones. After a while to phone won't ring when called. If I got to preview the ring tones I get a media player error. In a red box "Error Playing", and "An error has occurred attempting to play media.

The only changes I've made to phone so far since activating is BES setup, and activation of the newest version of BB Messanger.


Unfortunately I don't know how to go about looking into errors etc. like this. Any help would be appreciated. A phone that won't ring isn't much use...
