Just got my new 8220. The micro sd card 2GB is inserted, however, the phone is showing: A media card is not presently inserted in the device. I tried 2 cards which are working well in my dash. How to fix the problem.

Do you have a card adapter to insert in the PC and reformat it?

Yes, I have adapter and format one 2GB card since I thought it might the problem of the card. However, the 8220 comes with a 256MB card and I tried this one too and it's also showing no card is inserted.

Just like a computer... it could be a bad driver on the phone... so you could upgrade your OS and that would probably fix it.
But if its hardware then youre out of luck...
