I had the same lag. I installed the new version released by Rogers and the lag appears to be gone.

Do you know what version it is?.....and when you loaded the new OS did it change the carrier name at the top of the screen?

In options under screen/keyboard-increase your key rate and you will see a drastic increase in speed.

Also I upgraded to the .174 OS

Right - 4.6.0.174 (Available as a download from Rogers)... Works very nicely and no dialing lag.
