I think the question was a bit vague. Let me take another stab at it. Does the free 8220 ONLY applies to new customers? Or can an existing T-Mobile customer (eligible for an "upgrade") take advantage of this offer? Finally, if you are a existing customer, do you have to add the data plan to your existing plan to get the free 8220? I notice that some customers costo were able to get around the data plan issue by simply indicating that the plan was included on the receipt, but not actually adding that feature to the actual T-mobile account!
