You can do that with Google Maps and a Gmail account via "Latitud"... But your child could change the settings if he/she wants to (and knows how to) and then fool you...

Basically thats a tracking arrangement between 2 or more mobiles that agree to let others (friends) knows where they are (aproximatelly using signal triangulation)

does this phone have built-in gps ? if so, there's a free app on App World called GPS Tracker.

i was sort of wowed after i downloaded the app to my phone, because i was indoors and it spat out my coordinates on the screen. i went to InstaMapper's web site just to see if it put me on the map, and the location was dead on...

i wonder if satellites can now see thru SOLID ROCK ?

anyway, i was sitting near the window, but it's so overcast outside, i didn't think it'd register a location.
