Status Light not on! what should i do???
 

Ok. So i am new to the whole bb thing, I just order mine on the first and recieve it from UPS on the 5th. So, it is ONLY 4 days old. But anywho, ever since the other day my light on the front has stopped blinking. And ppl say, "oh theres a way to turn it on & off" but no one tells me. And the light helps me know whether or not i have messages or good signal or if my bluetooth is on. So, can someone please tell me how to turn it on or make it work????? Thx. ;-)

Go into Options, select Screen/Keyboard and turn on LED Coverage indicator.

You also need to edit your profile and turn on the LED notifications for each event.

Was the indicator disables in options or profiles? I wondering because I believe it is enabled in the default configuration. Maybe you disabled it while playong around and experimenting. Just wondering if it is broken.

Otherwise pull the battery. My 8700 use to do that.
