Default uncought exception error. sms mms

i just got a brand new blackberry 8220, and i updated it, and im already getting the uncought exception error??!!!! If my phone is fliped down, i get this error message and i have to reboot and after that 15 minutes of waiting, the message that was recieved when the phone was closed.... is gone!!! help me!!!! please!!!!

'uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(97) is not responding: process terminated' Is the exact message i get when i get an sms or mms message when my phone is flipped down
