can't sync anymore
Seemingly overnight, I can't sync my Pearl Flip 8220 to my computer's Outlook anymore. BB software no longer reads my phone. I know my USB cable works, as I can still copy photos and videos to my computer. I am told to upgrade the phone's software, but I believe I already have the latest (4.6). I tried re-installing the BB software on my computer, and that does not work (have tried the newest and the version I have been using). Has anybody else had this problem? I hate to get rid of the phone because of this. Thanks!

Please do not double post as once is enough. Your second post has been deleted.

Have you tried a battery pull on the BB?

Are you plugging directly into the PC or using a USB HUB?

I pulled the battery. Now I just get a long flashing red light, and no screen at all. I had been plugging directly into the computer.

Try another battery pull. Do it with the power on and wait a good minute or two. While you have the battery out, also remove the micro SD card if you are using one. See what happens.

If no joy and if you have OS 4.6 or newer, see if you can boot up in safe mode (search). If so, do a full backup, delete any programs you recently installed that might be the problem, change to a stock theme if necessary, and see if you can boot up. You probably should consider wipe and OS reinstall, however.

SIM or micro SD? Was the card ultimately the problem?

i cant sync my blacberry curve anymore.i have tried all the pc's and laptops in my house.i used to be able to synch to outlook.i have tried battery reset and nothing works,sprint has no clue whaat to do
