It really depends on your needs. I think I want the 8310 when it comes here because the GPS will suit me better than the 8320's WiFi. I was thinking about the 8820 or the Pearl, but I think the Curve is the one I want.

Agreed. If you don't care about GPS or WiFi then the devices are basically identical.

i think i would get more use out of WiFI than GPS. So IMO, the edge goes to the 8320. But since I have at&t, i will be using the 8310 (when I can find one).

mixed for me too... the 8300 is lighter - the 8310 adds GPS and I love it, but where I work there is no cell coverage, and the 8320 would change the way I work - 4 buildings I roam with no connection, BUT wifi everywhere? Id trade GPS for that in a heartbeat!

I can always use a GPS puck with my 8320. Can't add a "WiFi puck" to the 8310.

I believe it is a needs-based issue. I personally have no need for GPS, I can find my directions while on foot quite fine, and if I'm in a car, I'd rather have a mounted navigation system than a phone, personally.

The WiFi and UMA is effective for me inside, where cell signals are blocked, and speed of browsing (despite various reports, my WiFi browsing speeds far exceed those when not on).

For me the GPS is cooler. The wifi is kinda useless on a Blackberry (for me) because the browser is not so great and the processor and size don't really allow for the true advantages of wifi. I tested the 8820 for about a month and found the wifi was pretty much useless. Now, on my iphone it is a different story. If you are in an area that has no GSM coverage then wifi might be nice.

This poll is subjective and depends on the user's preference/priority. Ask yourself what features will be most valuable to you.

I didnt know that wifi ONLY works in your house??. Mines is broken because its working at this starbucks right now.Funny though, GPS is useless if you are in a building. Wifi useless outside of house and GPS is useless inside your house.

To me wifi is only usefull if you are in an area that has no EDGE and you have access to wifi which has not happened yet. I just didnt see enough speed diff to justify using it at home. I have a lot of fun with GPS and showing people where we are on google maps. The GPS is pretty sensitive in the 8310 as good as the best pucks etc. Very cool feature.

I'm all set with having GPS on my phone. I much prefer the stand-alone car units for GPS and I can still take it off the windshield and use it as a hand-held (for 4 hours). I'm loving the WiFi and UMA.

Why would you want to add a GPS puck to an 8310? I have always hated having to rely on more than one device, and a GPS puck is just one extra device to carry and charge. Its exactly like the merger of music capabilities and phone. LOTS of people love music phones so they don't have to carry a separate ipod or other music device. I don't want to carry a GPS puck and a phone. I am way too mobile to have to worry about two separate devices.
