Default Slide charger dock for Curve --- like old school cellphones

I've been looking for one of these forever. Does anyone have any experience with this? I haven't seen a cradle charger in a long time being used, and recently just for very exclusive phones like nokia 8800. Is this charger using the metal pieces on the back of the curve? That'd be awesome. I had cradles where I have to put the phone in only to connect a usb cable to the side of the phone.

Yup, uses the brass colored contacts on the back and also will charge an extra battery in the rear bay. I have seen these on ebay with an extra battery for $60-70.

I just bought this one from Amazon for $19.99. Works great, also charges extra battery. Only downside is it has the BRIGHT blue LED that never shuts off. It makes it presence known in dark rooms.

I own three and it is so nice to just set it on the stand and it starts charging without plugging something into it.

i would buy it for $50, but $80-$100 is too much for me.

I'm always afraid of using non-oem products. I've heard of AM chargers over-charging the phone.

I would rather have an OEM type as it keeps the wear and tear off the USB port on the berry, this way you're using the connectors at the back instead of something that uses tension to make it's connection and will wear out eventually.

Here's one on eBay for $60 and $6 shipping and handling:
