Lightbulb How to UNLOCK a T-Mo Curve?

Please Login to Remove!

folks, my sis just bought the T-Mo Curve for me at some NY shop. thing is, she can't ship it over yet coz she was told the store cannot unlock it since they would have to wait for the codes, something like that. take note: the store would charge about $50 or so just so they could unlock it.

is there another solution to this? does T-Mo give out unlock codes? am gonna be using the Curve here in the Philippines with a BIS account under Globe Telecoms.

everything's ready here except that my sis hinted that there may be a possibility that the phone might not even get UNLOCKED!

HELP!!!

If she is a tmobile customer she should be able to get it for free. If not search on here and there are a few threads with unlocking companies that will do it cheaper than that.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Try gsmphonesource.com

Highlt recommend and they are fast. Many users here on the BBF have used them with great success! TMO will give unlock code as long as she is a customer in good standing and has been with them for at least 30 days!

Good luck

this is very tempting.. i got this off gsmphonesource.com for sure, this will be my plan B!

Unlike some other services you might have tried, our success rate for T-Mobile USA Blackberry codes is 100%. Never a "Not Found In Database."

I got my unlock code direct from T-Mobile for my 8320 - I called one afternoon around 3pm - I had the unlock code in the email at 8am the following morning for no charge. They will give you an unlock code once every 90 days.

If you are eligible I'm not sure why you would buy one off gsmphonesource.com when you can get the same thing for free from T-Mobile???

I agree. I would wait for the free code from T-Mobile.

Still waiting for my request to be filled from T-Mobile. I guess they forward it to RIM, and wait. So it has been about 24 hours. They say normally 24-48 hrs. so no worries yet
