Not sure what the deal is, but when I try to buy ringtones for my new 8310 directly from AT&T, there are only a handful that show up. If I were to pick the 8300 as my device, hundreds of ringtones show up.

Any ideas???

You can pick the 8300, same difference as far as ringtones are concerned.

Make sure that you leave your phone choice as 8300. If you don't, their system will not let you down it. Also, when I tried to download (replace) a game on my 8310 that was on my 8300, it would not allow me. I don't know why either, both
are the same phone but the 8310 has GPS.

it still won't let you even if you set the choice as 8300.. I just tried on their website and it won't let me download the ringtone that was sent.. I got this message on the media net site:

"this product" is not compatible with your phone and your bill will not be charged. Please choose another product. thanks for shopping AT&T!"

yea so even if I pick a different ringtone, still won't work. so how are we to download ringtones now from AT&Ts site?
