I have a handful of users who would desire that messages that are deleted from the 8830, also are deleted in Notes (the default currently seems to be deleted on the device only).

Is there a setting (e.g. 8830 or BES) which would allow deletions in both locations?

On BES, Wireless Reconciliation should be enabled by default.

On the handheld:
Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation > Delete On = Mailbox & Handheld (or Prompt)

Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation > Wireless Reconcile = On
