What is loud? The ringtone? The speakerphone? The handset volume (during call)?

Please provide more detail.

Unhappy handset volume gone bad

hi all:

I have a BB curve from AT&T and for some reason, the handset volume just went weak . When I put it on Speakerphone or use a hands-free, volume is fine, but when on handset, the volume is so weak even if it's maxed out. I am just a day over the 30-day warranty and it sucks it went bad today!! Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? I'd gladly appreciate any. Thanks a lot...happy thanksgiving.
