How do I set volume before I answer the phone, the volume is very loud

What is loud? The ringtone? The speakerphone? The handset volume (during call)?

Please provide more detail.

Go into phone click trackwheel or berry button select general options>default phone volume and adjust accordingly

handset volume, I know during a call I can lower it, but when I answer it is too loud

Unhappy handset volume gone bad

hi all:

I have a BB curve from AT&T and for some reason, the handset volume just went weak . When I put it on Speakerphone or use a hands-free, volume is fine, but when on handset, the volume is so weak even if it's maxed out. I am just a day over the 30-day warranty and it sucks it went bad today!! Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? I'd gladly appreciate any. Thanks a lot...happy thanksgiving.

I have the same problem i just got the blackberry curve 8320 for t-mobile and the handset volume is really low , i raised the volume to max and still nothing. can anyone tell me what I should do
