I just purchased my 8320 and the Hotspot service from Tmo, will my Netgear router work or do I need to purchase the Tmo router?

I have a netgear router and two netgear wireless AP's....everything is working fine, you should not have any problems....but as others will suggest I reccomend updating all the firmware on your routers,etc. Just to make sure they have the latest info on them!

Other than updating the firmware, do I need to change any other setting?

On my router I did not change any settings except for what I had to because of using the AP's.....

Make sure you have your Blackberry 8320 set to Wifi-preffered
I also reccomend updating to the latest .180 update....it helps with the Wifi and UMA connections.

Are you At&T or Tmobile???

Pretty much every router, but I had problem with my PRE-N. So I had to get the Tmobile linksys one. So far, so good.

Thanks for the heads up, I recently switched from At&t to Tmobile. When you mean upgrade my phone as well as my router?

If you got the T-mobile BB8320 it probably came installed with OS 4.2.2.171....there is an update on their site that became available yesterday.... 4.2.2.180... it drastically helps the Wifi speed over the original and also helps with auto connection to UMA ssid's.
