Question 8310 homescreen - not showing new messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys. I have a Blackberry 8310 om Vodafone UK. I'm currently using the standard Vodafone white theme, though this problem also occurs on the Dimension Today theme.

The homescreen shows Messages, Call logs etc.

Now, on the call log bit, no calls show up (surely it should show the last few calls?). And on the messages (sms) part, a message from 0938 this morning is still showing, as opposed to the latest few messages (which I presume it's meant to show). Has anyone else had this problem?

I can easily click on the call log or messages bit and access everything there fine, but it just doesn't seem to be feeding through to the homescreen correctly.

Help much appreciated!

Does it not show new calls? I know that, on my Today screen, it will only show the calls that came through until I look at them in the Call Log. Then, since they are no longer new, it won't show them on the today screen any longer.

Today themes are only meant to show unread messages/logs. If a message is stuck there, you may need to pull the battery.

A battery pull worked, thanks for that. Hope it doesn't do it again.

Yes - I had the same problem. Got a message that started with a comma - ','
and it would not go away with a delete. Battery pull cleared it up. Many thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

It seems like this problem happens every now and then the battery pull is the best way to solve it.
