Default Solution to Gmail app "pausing" or "hanging up" when opening.

Please Login to Remove!

Maybe this is old news or common knowledge to some, but I've heard others complain about gmail "pausing" or "hanging up" when you try to open the app. I was having the same problem in fact.

I noticed that if I simply select "exit gmail" when I'm done using it, it doesn't "hang up" the next time I open it. In fact, since it essentially reloads the application I get my current refreshed mailbox instead of having to open it and refresh for new mail. So if you're having the "hanging up" problem when opening gmail, just "exit gmail" next time instead of hitting the red phone button or shortcutting back to the home screen.

I just discovered this myself and thought I'd share.
