Default Hard Reset BB 8300

Please Login to Remove!

hi all, how do a Hard Reset to my BB 8300, the mouse dont move! arghhhh why? other way different to:

"From the general menu under security, you can select wipe handheld, and then there should be a checkbox allowing you to wipe all 3rd party applications. This will remove all data and applications. "

because my mouse dont move, thanks

i remove the battery some times, and try, too hit Alt+Right Shift+Del and not work... other way?

Removing the battery reboots the device and usually fixes these problems. If it doesn't then the "wipe handheld" option under security settings isn't going to help. If removing the battery doesn't do it then you need to remove 3rd party apps and see if one of them is causing the problem. If that doesn't do it then I recommend wiping the device completely with JL_Cmder and reloading the OS.

i think only way is: JL_Cmder

Remeber: my mouse pointer in the BB not work.

where can download how to use?

you might use the link in John Clark's signature to the application which will include instructions on use or point you to a place with them.

What mouse pointer are you looking for? The only place I can get a pointer is within the browser application when in "Desktop view".

Can you not move the cursor or anything on screen? If so I think your problems may be deeper rooted then just a software problem. Since the only other fix is to get a new BB, I'd at least try the JL_CMDER wipe if for nothing else then the peace of mind that all of your personal information is off the phone.
