When I click on the connection settings the connect via Bluetooth area is grayed out. I have internal Bluetooth module on my laptop. I looked up online over at the blackberry curve site and they said If it's grayed out then I'm not using windows bluetooth. Which makes no sense to me because I bought this windows machine because it had bluetooth. The official name of my module by the way is 'HP integrated module with Bluetooth 2.0 Tech.' I went and downloaded the latest drivers from HP and I even went to the broadcom site to see if I could find a patch or something, but nadda.

I guess my question is what do you need to sync with the 8320 via bluetooth?

Yeah, I had this problem with my HP as well. Forgot who makes their modules, but I modified the Microsoft bluetooth INF file and used the generic BT drivers for the HP module and NOT using the HP supplied bluetooth stack. Desktop manager only supports the MS bluetooth stack.
