Default 8310 Total Space Less than 64MB

Please Login to Remove!

I just got an AT&T 8310 and the File Total is 54919168 Bytes. My pearl says 64356352 Bytes. Has anyone else noticed this? Is something wrong with my phone or are all curves "missing" 10MB of space?

I apologize if this has already be discussed and/or answered I searched around but could not find anything.

Thanks.

So it sounds like the 8320 has almost 53MB the 8310 has almost 54MB and the 8300 has 55MB and change. My pearl had all 64MB I guess they forgot how to count when they built the curve!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I believe the Curve does come with less memory. Mine (8320) also shows 53MB.

I think newer versions of software ignore the space held by the required JVM and OS as they can't be removed.
