A newbie question. When I draft an email, i start with the "to" field. But as soon as i press "enter", another "to" field comes! Also, there is a "cc" field. I usually write emails to a single person, unless replying, where I use the reply to all function. Hence, for me, I just need the "to", "subject" and the message body fields. When the extra "to" and "cc" field comes, it is irritating, though a minor irritation. I could not find any help for removing these fields in the manual.

I saw the menu and it says that I can delete the fields but it will be only for that email that I am drafting. Of course, I can use the trackball to smoothly glide over these useless fields but is there a way to remove them?

First, welcome to the Forums.
No, you cannot remove those. It is a feature to make it easier to address a second or third recipient. The empty fields do not appear to your recipient.

Thanks, at least you clarified it affirmatively that I cannot do it! As I also said, it is not a major irritant. And thanks again for a PROMPT reply, this forum is great!
