Default how to go to "airplane mode"

Please Login to Remove!

I am taking an international flight soon and really wanna be able to listen to music on my blackberry. How can I do this while having connection "off" for the flight?

You simply turn off your radio. It is under the Antenna Icon - "Manage Connections"

turn off radio? that turns off phone feature? are you allowed to use the internet feature on a plane? what i want to turn off is anything not allowed on a flight. I want to listen to music.

If you turn off the wireless connection (the radio), it turns off all external communications - phone, email, internet, etc.

You can still listen to any music you have on the device.

oh ok thanks guys! Where do I go to turn off radio? Where is manage connections? (sorry if I sound dumb, I am new to Blackberry, I've always had a Sidekick until this week)

You should have an icon for 'Manage Connections' on your main screen (may have to press the meny key (with the dots on it) to see all the icons.

Just uncheck the Mobile Network option by clicking on the check box. When your plane lands, go back in there and and check the box again.
