Default Choppy Video

Please Login to Remove!

I have been trying to watch a video on my 8310 and it gets very choppy and the video can't keep up with the audio...at one point it went to a video error. I have a 2 gb microsd memory card...any suggestions? It's kind of touch to watch a video...

How much free memory on the device (not your card?) Look in Options >Status.

That's not a lot. Try the steps for freeing up memory over at Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ. It's possible that low memory or even other apps running at the same time is causing your choppy video.

How do you control what programs are running at a given time?

From the home screen press the menu button and select "switch application." You shouldn't have more than 5 or 6 programs running in that list.

Just click on each one and then hit the "esc" key to close. There are a few that always run. They are Mail, Home Screen, Phone, Browser, and BBMessenger. The rest you can close. If you hit the red phone button while in an app, that app keeps running.
