Default SMS Instant Messenger? HELP!!

Please Login to Remove!

So, I have searched and searched for this and all I could find is someone telling someone else, "I am sure there is something out there"

This is my story. I have a 8320 Blackberry Curve from T-Mobile. However, I do not live in the United States currently. I am located in Milan, Italy. My phone is unlocked and I use it with a VODAFONE IT pre-paid sim-card. I can not get a contract here in Milan because I do not have an Italian Credit Card.

Vodafone gives me Blackberry service plan for 9.9 Euro's per month. Ironically this service plan seems to only include sending and receiving emails because when I downloaded JiveTalk to my phone, it ate up 30 euros in about 10 minutes WITHOUT SENDING ANY INSTANT MESSAGES.

So, now I am looking for an Instant Message software that uses SMS. I don't SMS much but I occasionaly do and would prefer to pay for 1 SMS each time I send message than to have JiveTalk take away 30 dollars every 10 minutes.

I hear that OZ, the t-mobile application works with SMS. It seems to be already installed on my blackberry but everytime I go to it, it says "Go to to activate your device for AIM" When I go to the website on my phone there is no where for me to download. (I am sure this problem is because I am in Italy becasue when I had my T-MOBILE sim in the phone, it would allow me to download from the website)

I know this posting is quite long but I really need help. What instant message service can I use that takes away SMS and not DATA? Also, where can I download it?

"OZ" is not installed on your 8320. The native IM applications on the 8320 are not OZ and use data instead of SMS. I don't know where to get the OZ messenger for the 8320.
