Default Playing mp3 files on 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I have downloaded switchmac to convert my itunes mp4 files to mp3. When I convert and transfer to my Blackberry media card everything looks to work ok, but when I play the file there is no sound. I have checked all the obvious things, volume etc. any suggestions?

Once they are on the memory card try to play the MP3s BEFORE putting the card in the BlackBerry, i.e. on your computer, to see if there is sound.

I have tried that and there is no sound when I play on my computer! Is there something wrong in the conversion?

There must be. I am not sure what that is, but that does seem to be the issue.

I got a 2gb micro sd today and transferred over 400 songs from itunes and it works fine. For music that you uploaded into your itunes library (from cds) simply place the cursor on the song and right click the option to see the files in windows then copy the files onto your bb8310 micro sd (previously connected to your computer) and there you have it. The sound is perfect.
