Arrow Volume adjustment

Please Login to Remove!

i just got my first blackberry yesterday...the curve 8300. anyway, i cannot seem to figure out two things:

1. is there any way to adjust the ringer volume? i see the different profiles, but can i pick a profile and then make it louder or softer?

2. when i scroll around using the trackball, it makes that little clicking sound. is there any way to mute this sound? even when i switch to the "sound off" profile, it still clicks. what can i do?

i think that's it. thanks in advance for the help!

Welcome to the forums.

This will help with your first question: How do I edit my notification tones (profiles)? - BlackBerryFAQ

And to change the clicking go into Options (icon), then Screen/Keyboard and change the 'Audible Roll' option.

1. yes, you can. Adjust the volume of the ringer in your selected profile, for one way.

2. Options > Screen/Keyboard. That is the only method.

good luck.
