All,

Just purchased an 8320 from a friend at work who is buying an unlocked Iphone . I am a first time BB user, and understandably have been overwhelmed by the features. I have set a new password to unlock the device, but when I try to use this password to access password keeper or the device manager, it will not work. Is there anyway that I can start from scratch, as it was the first time ever turned on? Thanks! Excited to be here!

Hello and welcome. Easiest way to start over it to type the password incorrectly 10 times. Follow the prompts on the BB. All customer data will be wiped out.

Thanks for the help.

Just worried that if I do attempt to do it like that, that it will completely lock the phone or something. I should have no worries doing it that way, right?

You'll be fine. It won't lock the phone.
