Please Login to Remove! I am about to receive a replacement for my faulty 8300 and am concerned about the effects of restoring to it information backed up from the problematic device. The main problems with my existing 8300 seem to be to do with the memory and how it handles the information. For example, if I receive a call from an address book contact their number shows correctly on the screen. However at the end of the call the details in the phone log are (it seems randomly) replaced with a completely separate entry from the address book. I have also had problems with calendar entries disappearing and them reappearing in duplicate and address book entries "hiding".
So, how best am I to put my contacts etc over to my new device without passing over any of the bugs from the old one? I plan to do a selective restore (addresses, calandar, memos, password keeper) as I don't want to risk a full restore. I would welcome your thoughts. Thank you. |
