Granted I am a new user of BB. I got Rimm rubber case/skin that also fits perfectly into Rim leather case if I need to.. what is the advantage of having hybrid case?

I don't know that "advantages" is the best word. It's more of what style you prefer. I just like my Seidio hybrid case.

I have a Seidio "Hybrid" case for my Curve...and it's ok, but I just prefer my phone w/o a case. I use the OEM BlackBerry 8300 leather pouch, and the phone doesn't fit into it with the case on it. It does fit, but the fit is so tight that it's hard to remove.

But...the advantages of a Hybrid case, are probably the more "grippiness" that it gives the phone. The clear front also shows off the color of the phone.
