i have a blackberry 8300 curve and today my phone gradually got worse and stopped working
last night it was 100% fine and today it has gone from the keys being pressed and showing up the wrong thing to what it is now, which all i can do is scroll around the home screen and the enter isnt working and i have no clue what to do!
i have tried resetting it, any ideas whats wrong with it, is this going to be something that i can sort myself or is it going to need a trip to RIM HQ?

Did the device get wet? That's what it sounds like. Did you try removing the battery to reboot the device?

yeah i rebooted a few times n nuffin, i dont think it got wet, if it did im gonna have to buy a new one or it usually fixable?

If you can let it sit in a warm dry place it may dry out and begin to work. You could try wiping the device and reloading the OS but it sounds like a hardware issue to me. Otherwise, I got nuffin else to suggest.
