Yup. The ONLY time I have ever seen the horizonal line with a dot below and above is on generic handheld calculators. On everything else like computers its always been a /.

Not sure if it helps, but the calculator is actually a superimposed "picture" of the keyboard. so the + is the Q, the reciprocal 1/x is the P and so on. Once I figured that one out, it became all so much easier.

I can't tell you how many people have asked me where the multiplication key is on the calculator, too!! Surprising how many people don't remember that the astrisk is another symbol for multiplication.
