Default Restore bookmarks and email messages

Please Login to Remove!

Within the past 24 hours I changed hand sets from an 8700g to an 8320 "Curve".

I wanted to perform a restore on the Curve to import browser bookmarks and email messages.

I performed a backup of the 8700g two days ago so all information was fresh. I decided to try and use that same file to "restore" content to the "Curve".

I opened back up/restore and chose advanced restore options.

I selected the content I wanted to restore from the left screen and dragged it to the right screen. MMS and SMS messages were restored to the Curve. I could not find anything that stated email messages. The option to restore Browser bookmarks was there however the content would not show up in the Curve.

BTW - I do like the curve but getting used to the smaller keyboard will take some doing. I have large digits and the 8700 was at times frustrating to type on. Almost tempted to go back to the 7290.

AFAIK, the only way to restore email is to send them to yourself. Email doesn't synch.
