Actually Sith, Demon was right. Check post #145 from Furf in this thread. He posted a copy of the rebate form showing the Curve. BTW, no red version is shown, but is shown for other models.

Is the Curve ever coming to Verizon? - Page 10 - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

Nice try. You said "its not 3/30". Its STILL not 3/30.
Just teasing, Sith. To be honest, when he posted it I didn't believe it either!!! Its really hard to know which wild rumors to believe. Turns out this one was true.

Well it's 1:04am here in Jersey, and when I just went to the Verizon site it says the site is down, and offers different links. WSonder if this has anything to do with it?

With previous VZW rumors, they do indeed prove to be wrong but often a formal announcement with a legitimate date later follows. I remember that is what happened when the 8830 info came out.

I always wanted a curve but I would also like to see what is going on in the 9000 world.

Chase,
I see you put the 8330 in your profile.

People are going to go on this site and say they spoke with an anonymous source who works with the company and the date is ???.

I urge you to look at Berry Review, Rimarkable and others.

As a retail customer, I notice that there is usually a very short (one month max) between the official announcement of a new product and the actual release.

Like you, I am definitely interested in getting the answer you are seeking.

I am in FL. It still shows in stock to me as well. I thought when they were out of stock, they would pull the product from website.

What leads me to the almost 100% certainty that it is fake: "The Curve Has Been Waiting For You" bla bla is NOT of Verizon and its marketing companies quality levels in terms of a print add rollout.

"We've gotten the inside track on a few dates on Verizon's radar for the next few months, and it looks like the boys and girls in red are prepping an interesting mix of exclusive and Sprint catch-ups to keep customers fat and happy. As handsets go, the Motorola Q9c is planned for April along with the TouchFLO-powered XV6900, LG enV2, and the CDMA rendition of the BlackBerry Curve" this is what engadgetmobile is reporting......

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Verizon caught me off guard this morning with the announced of the BlackBerry Curve 8330. This new Curve will be RIM's smallest and lightest BlackBerry smartphone yet. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphones jack and external microSD memory card slot. For now Verizon's Curve will only be available in liquid silver with chrome finish (as seen here).

The Curve will be available in May for $269.99 after rebates on two year contract. Click over for the full press release.

If you have an existing 2 year contract, what can you do?

Can you purchase it at contract price and contract duration starts over?
