I searched on Google and on here to see if anyone is having issues like I am. Since Sunday my 8300 is off(early) by one hour. I set my time to "Blackberry" in the date/time option. Network seems to show the right time in the options but if I choose that setting the phone refuses to use this time.
If I manually set the correct time, all of my calender items are still wrong.

I spoke to people using other types of blackberry's and services(AT&T and Sprint) who seem to have the same issue. I also spoke to my company's IT's dept(large 30k person company) who admitted that they got a large number of calls about this on Monday morning, and have yet to find out why or an answer. I guess the worst case is I have to wait until this Sunday for a fix.

And yes, I have the DST patch on my 8300. I even reapplied it and hard booted my 8300 several times. I'm using BES, BTW.

I have the same issue. Like you I have had the DST patch installed. The network time is always an hour ahead then the actual time.

I assumed my issue was that I was travelling in the UK at the weekend and their clocks changed then (so for one week they are only four hours ahead). When I returned to the USA yesterday the problem was now an hour out.

Hoping Saturday changes things.

On BES with AT&T using an 8300

The DST Patch does not fix the problem. Im going to try and upgrade the firmware to the latest version. I met a coworker with a 8300 on AT&T with the same issue today...

Do you have OS 4.2 on your device? Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring issue. Way to go RIM.

I ran into this on my Sprint 8830 and had to follow the steps in a now seemingly deleted RIM KB article. This one is very close to that KB article:

Clock did not change to display the correct time for DST

But here are the actual steps that I did, which is what was in the original KB article (for the most part):

My clock fell back

So I updated the firmware to the latest AT&T supported(4.2.2.166) and it still does not show the right time. The DST patch is applied.

I guess Im waiting for Sunday!
