Can you change the background screen that is visible when the device is locked?

That screen would be black, no light emission from the screen.

No, you can't change that.

He is wondering of you can add a wallpaper to the lock screen. Light emission has nothing to do with it.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I believe the background on the lock screen is part of the theme, right?

Interesting. Theme editing is big league too. Not sure I'm up for that. I just wish my wallpaper were the background when my device was locked.

i was thinking you meant the "at sleep" screen. I guess I am about as helpful as the others here.

No, I tend to lock my device with I leave it lying around, and the screen when I wake it up is very boring -- wanted to jazz it up some!

That's the 'Home Screen Image'. If you have a pic on your device (one you have saved to the device or microSD memory) you can set it as the 'Home Screen Image'.

Although, this can also be theme driven.....

It seems to be different. I set a Home screen, and it is what shows when I'm on Today view or main icon view. But when I lock the device, it shows a different screen.

I think it's theme driven then. Try switching back to one of the default themes and see if it does the same thing.

I think knowing what theme you're using would help for more advice

I've never used it, but since it's a theme builder theme I can say that if you changed your homescreen wallpaper to something other than the default and it doesn't show on the lockscreen you're out of luck unfortunately.

I can definetely confirm that this a theme driven feature. Some themes will transfer your wallpaper onto that screen others will have their own custom ones that are uneditable. One of the things that i dont like about bPHone theme. I't's got a lame ass owner screen.
