Default Where can I find shortcut keys for CURVE

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a list for all shortcut keys for CURVE 8300?
I want to know how to lock the device without clicking on the lock icon?

Thank you,
G~

Give Alt + Enter a try.

Re: Home Screen Shortcuts - BlackBerryFAQ

Pressing K on the home screen does not lock on my 8310 (due to having the Dial From Home On).

You are correct sir.

I had tried using that list and the 'K' shortcut did not work while the Alt+Enter did, so I was giving him my ever so tiny nugget of knowledge.

Just wanted to chime in and note that to use some of these you will have to turn off the speed dial option.

That is correct, and is explained in the FAQ. However, Speed Dial still works, one just has to press and hold a letter for the speed dial, while tapping for the shortcut key.

True True, just thought I would share in case he missed that.

I can't find an answer for this one.

When I'm replying to an email, how can delete all of the previous emails except the one I'm replying to so that it's not a mile long? It's not obvious to me or if it's possible.

Hit the menu button, then choose "Delete Original Text." I don't believe there is a shortcut to it.

Right, but that deletes ALL of the original text. I want to leave SOME of the original text. How can I do that?

nope, delete all or none.

Try forwarding, instead, and see if you can delete partial past emails.

THANK YOU for clarifying!

And that's a NEGATIVE on the forward.

Also, if you try selecting any text (ezrunner) in reply or forward, the delete key does nothing and in the menu, copy is the only choice for the selected text.

It seems kind of odd that you can't select and delete text, but if that's the way it is, then, oh well!
