Default OMG the housing squeak has finally stopped!!!!

Yes, you heard right. The housing squeak from my 8320 has finally stopped!

This is my third curve. The first one jacked up reception, perfect housing. On to second, horrible housing, loose on the bottom left side and it squeaked and I constantly lost reception indoors. My last and finally curve (current one) everything works great. Housing isn't perfect but it always suffered from squeaky and looseness on the whole right side of the black rubber, from the volume down button and below. It was below the side convenience key that was just aweful. I couldn't take it anymore, it was driving me nuts!!!

So today while on my throne and using my blackberry of course, an idea came into my mind regarding the looseness and squeakiness of my bb. Now since day one its always been like that, its just gotten worse over time. Also from day one, the bottom piece with the tmobile logo has always bee misaligned and on the back, it would always pop up and me having to push it back down. The right side of the plastic piece stuck out a lot further than the left side. I've always thought that maybe the piece wasn't perfect and if I were ever to buy anyone one to replace, it would solve that problem. I've pulled it off completely many times and put it back on with no change, that's why I assumed it wasn't a perfect piece

Well when on the throne today, the idea came to me. Maybe the piece is perfect, something must be causing it not to sit right. So I examing that area, there the left side of the bottom piece sticks out more. I noticed something, the black rubber piece is what's causing the problem, its not lined up with the bottom piece which is causing the bottom piece to stick out on the edge. Where they meet up isn't flush cause in fact the black rubber piece is actually under the bottom piece.

So once again I pull off the bottom piece. And this time when trying to put it back on I "squeeze" it between the black pieces making sure the bottom piece doesn't overlap and that. So the piece is on and now its flush and fits "perfect". And what do you know! The squeak from the right side and loosen is gone! Its gone! Haha, joy to the world, seriously. but I will admit, a small area between the volume down button and convience key does push down a little but that's no big deal compared to how it was before, the whole right side!

So ya, what a relief, I thought I'd share this before anyone else suffering from this problem loses their mind.
And its true, great ideas and important desicions have been made while on the throne.
