Low memory?

so who else has low memory on their curve after installing apps ? I have 5 mb left! Is this a problem?

Will my bb start deleting stuff?
I have this:
tele nav
pocket day
total fitness
multi alarm
find it
repligo
free news
jive talk
journal pro

Plus:
1500 contacts
300 calender items

Is this amount of available memory normal?

penguin3107 11-16-2007 05:39 PM

5mb of free memory is normal for you, considering the number of applications you have on the device.

Do you have a lot of themes? phone call logs? messages?

5mb free is not the end of the world, but I wouldn't allow it to go much lower.

But you do face "possible" deletion of some SMS/phone logs at that level.
Not to sound alarmist about it, I am probably just more conservative about it than Penguin. More info below if you like.

no just 2 themes. Phone is only a week old and doesn't have too much in terms of logs. Besides I delete old logs and emails daily.

Agreed. Lots of people install apps and never use them. Dump what you do not need and keep your device lean and clean. I can see one or two apps that are nice to have and use but you got way too many!
