Default Problem downloading Gmail app

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Curve 8300 on CellularOne (which I think just got bought out by AT&T). I have tried to download the Gmail app but I keep getting the following error message:

Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor

The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing.

Can anyone help with this? Thanks,

MLF

I think it is a CellOne thing. I get the same error when I try and download Google Maps. I download the BES Ver. and installed via the desktop. (Google maps that is.)

And yes AT&T did buy CellOne.

Can anyone else help with this? I'm assuming this has to do with a security setting somewhere or with how java is configured? I'm not very knowledgable about stuff like that, so any help I can get would be most appreciated. Thanks,

MLF
