Short menu Icons

As I explained yesterday, I got my new curve yesterday ( love it) but I had a 8100 before and i used the "shortened menu" where icons lined up on the left hand side os the screen, is there a way to do this with the 8300 ?

under Options, Theme - select the BB Dimensions Zen theme
